Connect Claude AI to Odoo

Connect Claude AI to your Odoo instance with the Odoo MCP Pro connector. Once connected, you can search, read, and edit your business data using plain language — no CSV exports, no switching between tabs.

You need: a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise) and an Odoo login.

Setup

1. Log in to claude.ai and to your Odoo instance (both in your browser).
2. In Claude, go to Your profile → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
3. Name: Odoo. URL: https://mcp.pantalytics.com/mcp. Click Add.
4. Click Connect, approve in the popup, and you’re done.

The connector works automatically in claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and the mobile app.

Try it out

In a new chat, enable the connector via the + icon and ask: "Which Odoo server am I connected to?"

What can you do with Claude and Odoo?

Once the connection is active, you can ask Claude questions directly about your Odoo data. For example:

• "Show all unpaid invoices above €5,000 from Q4"
• "Which leads have been open for more than two weeks in the CRM?"
• "Create a new sales order for customer Acme with product X"
• "What is the current stock status of item Y?"

Claude queries your Odoo instance directly via the MCP connection. No technical queries required on your part.

Compatibility

The Odoo MCP Pro connector supports Odoo 14 through 19+. Newer versions (19+) use the JSON/2 API; older versions (14–18) are supported via the XML-RPC protocol. You choose whether to use the hosted version (5-minute setup, no technical knowledge required) or self-host via GitHub for full control over your data.

Security

The connector is built with security as a starting point. Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.1, your API key stays server-side and is never visible to end users. Access rights are enforced through the existing Odoo ACLs and record rules — Claude only sees what the logged-in user is allowed to see.
